there is no Error, the 304 response is fine here since you have the
content already in your cache. The following 404 is just a response to
the request "GET /favicon.ico" which you don't provide. You should test
wich curl -v instead, then you will not see any cache related issues or
automated requests on favicon.ico or similar stuff. Also curl let you
see the actual response, including possible whitespace includet in the
response (some Browsers will ignore it, some will reject your content).
