Olaf,

I'm embarrassed to say that the problem was due to my own mistake in not
recognizing that configure had failed. Now I have a Makefile and make is
running up to the point where it tries to make sdk/demos. There it complains
about not finding libcxxtools.so.8.

I am puzzled because /usr/local/lib contains libcxxtools.so,
libcxxtools.so.8, and libcxxtools.so.8.0.0. The first 2 are linked to the
last. Perhaps it it looking somewhere else for the libraries?

Very likely this is due to another mistake on my part, however any insight
you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Steve

Do you download the tar-File or the source code from the subversion
repository?

Do you have a file with name "Makefile"?
