and it doesnt, you'll need to set proper compiler/linker flags, the
following should work for you:

CPPFLAGS="-I$HOME/tntnet/include"
LDFLAGS="-L$HOME/tntnet/lib -Wl,-rpath=$HOME/tntnet/lib"
PATH="$HOME/tntnet/bin:$PATH"
export CPPFLAGS LDFLAGS PATH
