Hello Jean-Marc,

Tntnet does encode chars with special meaning in HTML into their HTML
entity counterparts using tnt::HtmlEscOstream::HtmlEscOstream
You could use the "sister" function
tnt::HtmlEscStreamBuf::HtmlEscStreamBuf for your purpose.
Given that Tntnet does expect to work with UTF-8 encoded HTML, only the
following characters will be translated: < > & " \
If you need to translate the - mostly no longer used - other named
entities, you will find quite a number of (partial) solutions like here
<http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1082162/how-to-unescape-html-in-c/1082191#1082191>
or you could go for librecode which can translate just about everything,
but which might be overkill for you.

Best regards,
Michael
