If you REALLY want to use mbox format over Maildir, then go ahead. But you shouldn't unless you have a need for mbox (like another application that doesn't support Maildir), or just want to slow things down. Courier-IMAP doesn't support mbox, so if you want IMAP, then you'll have to find another server that supports vpopmail. I'm not aware of any.

Also, if you choose to use splogger, then you will not be able to graph qmail qmailmrtg7.
