Bill,
I did exactly as you specified:
1) Removed the pop3ds service from /service with an rm command
2) Killed two processes that were running the pop3ds service
3) Relinked the pop3ds service to /service
I am still getting the cannot bind to address error message I was
receiving before.
When I do a vpopmailctl stat it shows the pop3ds has been up as long as
pop3d, but the pop3ds log is still showing 0 seconds.
The wierd thing is that even when I deleted the service, and killed the
rouge processes a: netstat -nlp still showed port 995 as open. Any
other suggestions? thank you so much for your help so far!
