I don't think that this issue be a toaster issue.
My point just is: why autoresponder is returning vacation messages from
address that not receive email directly?
I mean:
sender --> recipient(with no autoresponder)
[EMAIL PROTECTED] |[EMAIL PROTECTED]
|
|-------forward to--> another recipient (WITH autoresponder)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
If x@domain send directly an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]: why should it receive
the vacation message from the another external email address
[EMAIL PROTECTED] after a forward?
I believe that the [EMAIL PROTECTED] should return vacation message to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (not to the original sender [EMAIL PROTECTED]) and if this is the
situation, entering in a double-bounce-discard stage between [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I hope my point be clear and not be understanding badly the whole topic.
BTW, I'm beginning too the 'scripting path' you suggested in your post.
