hello john,

in /var/qmail/control/locals, you have to put the FQDN of your machine
in /var/qmail/control/rcphosts, you put all the domains you manage + the FQDN
in fact, this is make by "./config-fast full.hostname" when you install qmail with 
bill's procedure
but if you have installed the toaster, you can use the qmailadmin cgi for add domains
