221 Welcome to mail.merchbox.com
Connection closed by foreign host.
That's proof of mfcheck working on my system.

Yes, its working here too. From my Windows box,

# telnet nie.ac.in 25
220 aryabhata.nie.ac.in ESMTP
helo dheerajtest.com
250 aryabhata.nie.ac.in
mail from:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
553 sorry, your envelope sender domain must exist (#5.7.1)

next with a valid domain....

# telnet nie.ac.in 25
220 aryabhata.nie.ac.in ESMTP
helo nie.ac.in
250 aryabhata.nie.ac.in
mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED]
250 ok
rcpt to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
550 sorry, no mailbox here by that name (#5.1.1 - chkusr)

But, one more question arises from this to me, note that [EMAIL PROTECTED]
mailbox exist on that domain, still it says 'no mailbox here by that
name...'
Actually, mails to and from any domain work without any problem and is
working from last 6 months. qmail is built with TLS and SMTP-AUTH support.
I'm using Courier POP3DS in place of qmail-pop3d(s). Why is that telling no
mailbox here by that name? Its because i'm using POP that of Couriers?
I'll try to find it right away or else please let me know.

One more thing i noticed here was, mfcheck checks whether the domain exists
or not. But, i've got errors like "Remote host said: 550 cannot route to
sender address" & "Sender verify failed
", in this case, i guess, that server makes sure that the domain xyz.com is
1.2.3.4 but it is receiving that mail from 5.6.7.8 telling its xyz.com and
hence it shoots out "Cannot route to sender address". Something like this? I
think, i slightly confused this with mfcheck.

Thanks & Regards,
Dheeraj.
