Regards, Maciej >From what I've read, use one or the other.  Linking in syncdir seems the easiest with Bill's toaster.  But it is uncertain whether this is even required with later versions of ReiserFS and other journal file systems.  I linked syncdir into a linux toaster I built and everything seems to be working just fine.  So it doesn't seem to hurt even if syncdir isn't necessary anymore.
