I had just this problem with Outlook Express. I've never used TB, so I
have no idea if it applies, but in OE, I had to set the root folder to
"INBOX." before it was smart enough to move sent mail to the sent
folder.  Which was odd, since I could eaily move mail into and out of
the sent folder before making that change - only truly "sent" mail
wouldn't go into the folder. I had to enable IMAP logging on OE to
trap the error messages before I figured this one out.  One would
assume that if OE can retrieve my mail from multiple folders, and move
mail between folders, it knew about INBOX., but for sent mail, it
needed that setting.   Go figure... all I know is that it's working
now.
