Hi,

first of all I'd like to thank you for your great document!
I just want to ask you if you may add/change some things in your next release.

May you integrate the following patch which enables ucspi for ipv6 use http://www.fefe.de/ucspi/

I'm not interested in IPv6 for this installation guide, so it will not be added at this time.

regarding your debian notes I would prefer to install "apache2 libapache2-mod-php4 php4" instead of "apache php4"

That's fine, go for it. I still default to apache at this time for most of my clients, so it will not be changed.

libnet-ident-perl\ <- this can't be copy&pasted

I added the missing space between "perl" and "\".

also you are providing the ability to choose a different src directory as /var/src would be really great if you might add this function also for defaultdomain example.com :)

Yes, I intend to do that, as well as add many other options too.

echo '127.:allow,RELAYCLIENT=""' > ~vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp
echo '::1:allow,RELAYCLIENT=""' >> ~vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp (for ipv6)

See above.

I would suggest serving POP3 POP3S clients via courier and not qmail-pop3d to have a clean seperation between MTA and MDA

That would break qmailmrtg7 graphs, unless I rewrite the start scripts for courier to use tcpserver instead of couriertcpd. That just doesn't make any sense to me. You are welcome to use courier if you like, however.

is there any way to contribute to this document?
seeing the php source or so?

There's very LITTLE php, and I don't make the source available at this time. In the future, I may make it very modular to allow for automatic script generation, and support for different distribution versions. But that is not the case yet.

Regards,

Bill
