We are running netqmail 1.05 on two servers behind two loadbalancers running ultramonkey. Both Mailservers are configured to run vpopmail with mysql and both, the homedirectorys and the qmail files are shared on NFS shares. This all works fine. But we encounter a little problem from time to time. When a user tries to fetch his mail he gets asked for his userdata a second time. After sending them he can successfully connect to the mailservers. This doesn't happen very often and, as it seems to me, not regular. It just happens sometimes. Dose anybody have a good idea about this? Because I just don't get it. If the Mailserver would not be able to process the userdata the Loadbalancer (running ldirector to check service availability) would recognise that and not direct the user to the server.
