I tried this and it didn't help. I decided to remove dnsbl.tqmcube.com from the /var/qmail/control/blacklists file, which took care of it.

Bye!

2007/1/25, J.T. Johnston <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I installed QTP on my machine, yesterday, to use the RBLs. Using
qtp-menu, I set the RBLs to the loose setting. Ever since, I have had
problems sending emails from my laptop on the private network. I get an
error back from the server (I'm using Thunderbird client.) that states
the following:

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:
Spam received from 10.x.x.x (This is the IP address of my gateway
router which forwards SMTP traffic to my mail server). Removal
    requests: http://tqmcube.com/dnsbl/dnsbl_remove.php. Please verify
that your email address is correct in your Mail preferences and try
    again.

If I change my mail client's SMTP server address from the public domain
name to the private IP address, I can send mail just fine. It appears
that this blacklist blocks anything from a 10.0.0.1 address as being
spam. Does anyone have experience with this setup that may be able to
offer a fix. Of course, I could just remove this blacklist from the
group, but I wanted to see what other options might be available.

Thanks,
J.T. Johnston
