Hi Alex, I believe this patch can be taken in, because the bug is all tasks that are in documentation.conf are not populated in the variable table. The bug might be in the code that fills the variable table.

Yep, I can see it working in do_deploy tasks I have checked the database, and the problem seems to be that not all tasks that have descriptions in documentation.conf are stored in the database, so we might have to find a different way of going about this.
