Using mbed one writes code (online) for various Cortex-M devices (select
which one in the upper-right-hand corner). After a successful compile, a
download of the binary to load into the device commences. If you wish
you can ask to download any of your projects, at which point it asks you
which toolchain you want to target (on your local host), and it
generates a zip with all the necessary files (source, libraries, header,
Makefiles, etc) inside.
