I am starting to look into how to create a project with Toaster. As part
of that, I have a couple of questions related to variable handling in the
interface:

* Which variables can you edit from Toaster? In the build analysis
information, we expose the output of the bitbake -e command, which results
in a long, long list of variables. Should all those be editable via
Toaster? Are there any variables we do not want to make editable?

* What about variables that apply only to a specific recipe (things like
PREFERRED_PROVIDER_xyz)?

* We need to provide a (smallish) set of default variables that we
recommend you should review and set appropriately when you create a
project. Would the approx. 20 variables in the default local.conf file be
a good starting point for this? Is there anything else that should also be
considered for that set?

Suggestions / opinions / thoughts most welcome as usual.

Thanks!

Belén
