We were: David, Mihail, Paul, Michael, AlexD, Dave ARs:
Alex: Open a Bugzilla feature to back port the memory resident server fix to 1.7 Michael and Paul: add to the contributor's wiki page. See opens for details. Belén: prepare bits and pieces for Intel's Yocto Summit demo David: get in touch with Stephen Jolley to see if he can provide a laptop for the Yocto Summit that attendees can use to play with Toaster Weekly status: David: got reviews from Belen, and commented on Michael's changes to the contributor's wiki page Dave: not much time on Toaster, only to review a new defect and work out that it was not a defect Belen: not much to report. Time has been spent mainly on meetings and a long Easter weekend. Alex: setting up some new hardware and various meetings Michael: meetings, long weekend, and making changes to the contributor's wiki page Paul: nothing Toaster related to report. Just one thing that came up at ELC. The fix to the memory resident BitBake server https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6935 which sorted out the problem of configuration changes not being picked up by Toaster, has not been back ported to 1.7. Paul asked Richard Purdie if it would be practical to do so, and he replied that it might be quite invasive but possible. We agreed this fix is worth back porting, and Alex will open up an issue in Bugzilla. Mihail: not much to report. Mostly verifying bugs, which they are nearly all done. Opens: html5 validator: Michael just installed the w3c validator in one of our local servers. It is not straightforward, so he can help if someone else wants to do it. Table refactoring branch from Michael: Alex will comment by email. How to contribute wiki page: Paul will add how to get rid of your old branches in poky-contrib once patches are merged upstream. Michael will document how to install the w3c html validator locally. Yocto Summit demo: we have been given a 30-minute slot. Belén will provide some kind of script for the demo, along the lines of the tutorial video we created for the Toaster manual, but adding how to import your own layers. David Reyna has a layer we might be able to use for this. We will also add a slide or two about future development plans, including integration with Jenkins / Buildbot, and Toaster vs. Hob, since people are bound to ask. Belén will ask Jeffro is he has the poster we used for the Technology Showcase at ELC, and if he can get it to the Summit somehow. David will contact Stephen and Jessica to see if they can provide a laptop we can leave for attendees to play with Toaster.
