We were: Beth, Richard, David, Dave, Michael, Paul, Mihail, AlexD, Tiago,
Levi and Belén

Weekly updates:

* David: demoed Toaster at Intel's Yocto Project Summit. Saw that Alex
reverted his patch for the Django admin interface. He'll be looking into
making the suggested changes to it.

* Dave: nothing to report

* Belén, Tiago and Levi: worked on high level designs for the image
customisation feature. A document with the outcome of the discussions has
been sent to the mailing list. You can download it from

https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/File:Image_customisation_in_Toaster.pdf

* Michael: fixed a couple of bugs and sent a new version of the tables
refactoring to the mailing list for comments.

* Paul: participated in the image customisation design discussions

* Mihail: nothing to report

* AlexD: did some cleanup in Bugzilla and worked on the testing framework
for Toaster. There is an email on the mailing list about it

* Richard: nothing to report

* Beth: she is hoping to have the public Toaster server showing data from
Autobuilder builds today (she has encountered a problem with a missing
Django module that needs to be fixed first). Also looking at Jenkins in
preparation for integration with Toaster work.

Opens

* Jenkins integration.

There are 2 integration modes:

1. Show data coming from builds
2. Send configuration for builds that will be run by Jenkins and receive
build artifacts

Although the initial goal of the release was doing number 2, we have
settled for the following: we will provide the type 1 of integration for
both Autobuilder and Jenkins, plus the ability to download build artifacts
(logs, images and SDKs). We will aim for a generic solution for the
latter: an API people can use to pass the artifacts location to Toaster.

Richard believes this should solve the main problem with Jenkins. We will
continue to explore the problem of the type 2 integration, to come up with
a good solution that we might be able to implement in a future release. We
have some conversations scheduled as part of that "discovery" effort.
Richard has also suggested we speak to Randy and Khem. Belen will try to
arrange that, and she'll also comment on the Bugzilla feature to reflect
the outcome of this conversation.

* UI test automation

AlexD is in conversations with the QA team to get those tests into shape
for 1.9 and get some extra help for Mihail.

* RFCs on the mailing list

We have the test framework branch from AlexD, the table refactoring work
from Michael, and the outcome of the image customisation design
discussions out there. Check them and provide feedback if you can.

* Visual design workstream

We are starting work on a new visual look for Toaster. Levi is in charge
of that. We will be presenting the outcome of this work in these meetings
as it becomes available, so that everybody can chip in and give their
opinions about colours, logos, icons and all those fun things.
