Attendees: Stephen, Mihail, Ed, Michael, Belén, David, Brian, Tiago, Victor,
Elliot, Paul,

Updates:

David: 8126 ie ready for submission. 8137 is on hold. Preparing the Demo at
ELCE.

Michael: Fixing and creating ic5 revision. Image customization is still work in
process. Net gain of 4-5 bugs fixed bug ic5 revision.

Belén: Checking patches. Working with Sujith. Working on empty states (they
are all over the place at the moment). Working on a list of changes for the
manual.

Elliot: Working on 8373. Working on outsidating review of Michael's changes.
Completed 8231. Reviewed and submitted fixes for 8369.

Brian: Did a number of submissions. Got a set of Django and selenium test that
appear to work. Added details to the wiki.

Ed: Working on fixing 7505 and 8101 and getting them submitted. Working on
8004. Fixed a few test cases. Please make sure you don't break any test cases
before submitting patches. Submitted a new version of the patches for showing
tasks in the UI when specified for a build. We'll move into 8279 to merge the 2
Toaster modes.

Victor: Working on cleaning the new theme repository for Elliot. Submitted
changes to Elliot. Exporting all SVG images to the project.

Tiago: Finished the heading component for the new Bootstrap theme. Made a list
of all changes that still need to be made in the list of new components and
gathered some user feedback on a new image dashboard design we are working on.

Mihail: Working on the automation test.

Paul: Working with Michael on fixes.

Stephen: Working on YP and MinnowBoard project management.

Sujith: Working on local builds.

Opens:

David: Brian is changing toaster startup code (you will specify a directory on
startup that will be the parent of the build and layers checkout directories).
David's class would need to do this for ELCE.

Belén: David needs data for Philip Balusters' demo for ELCE. Belen has
prepared a DB for this. Does it meet the needs? David will check.

Toaster next branch (Brian): the toaster-next branch will have all the changes
submitted upstream, which will give us a running branch that more closely
represents what's happening upstream. Brian created a wiki page with
instructions, but keep an eye on them to suggest changes to the workflow if
needed.

Brian discussion of 8321. Elliot to remember Ed's changes which may make some
parts of this not relevant. Ed's work on merging the 2 Toaster modes should not
invalidate the design Elliot will be implementing.

Mihail open: Which tests do you want for the developers. Selenium tests can be
run by the developer. Proposing 2 types of tests:

1. Long selenium tests will build something relatively complicated

2. The short ones will walk through the pages and make sure they have the
expected content

Make sure to comment the code in the Selenium tests and provide good messaging.
Mihail to set up a 1:1 with Brian to work out the details of these new tests.
Brian would like to have a Jenkins setup that will run both selenium and unit
tests, and reports on results.

Brian: Not all layers work in toaster. See bug 8420. The layers found in this
bug don't work without special set-up even in the command line. We might have
to document what does and doesn't work for QA.

Belén: What is happening with 7981. We now have both image recipes and
software recipes. She would really like the layer index updated. Little
progress since we are waiting Michael Halstead. Will have a 1:1 with Michael
Wood on Friday and see if they can figure out a work around.

Belén: Paul, do you need anything from Belén for dev day? A basic script would
be nice. Belén will send a database.

Sujith: Can he get access to a machine to build toaster? Not at this time, but
Brian will ask.

AR's:

Mihail - Close bug 8420 as not a bug with Alex.

Brian - Ambush Michael about Patchwork. (In Process)

Belén - Make video for ELCE booth (Dropped)

David - Tell the people manning the booth that there will be a Toaster video
available (Dropped)
Brian - See if there is public build infrastructure available for contributors.
Stephen suggested talking to Michael Halstead about Linux Foundation build
machines.
