Attendees: Stephen, Elliot, Sujith, Dave, Mihail, David, Michael, Brian, Ed,

Updates:

Elliot: Working on 8440, waiting for input from Belen and Richard for next
steps. Working on 8956. Worked on 8443. Looking at 9021 and sent fix up.
Looking at 8842. Discussed issues with these bugs.

Sujith: Updated plans with feedback from Belen for the build cancellation UI.

Dave: Just joined the Toaster team. Reviewing changes since last year.

Mihail: Doing YP 2.1 M2 QA toaster work. Showing GDC visitors around RO.

David: Doing research on code for new toaster DB.

Michael: Working on image customization. Working on dependency tracking UI.

Brian: Nothing this week.

Ed: Nothing this week.

Belen: (via e-mail) Apart from the usual patch reviewing and bug opening, I
spent quite some time preparing and attending FOSDEM. I brought Toaster to the
OpenEmbedded stand, which we used to show off the builds running in one of the
hardware demos. I also spoke at one of the FOSDEM dev rooms about how design is
done in OpenEmbedded. From my conversations with people, once again
integration with CI solutions was the main request. People want the nice data
from Toaster about the builds they run with Jenkins / BuildBot / whatever.
Some more time went into submitting Toaster presentations to various shindigs,
between them Embedded Linux Conference. The call for proposals is still open (I
believe until the 5th) in case someone else wants to send something. The more
proposals we send, the higher the chance one of them will make it into the
program. I also have a couple of patches pending on the mailing list to remove
the fido release from toasterconf.json in master, since after some playing
around I did last week it seems master no longer builds with fido. If anybody
could confirm that's the case, review and submit them upstream, I would be very
grateful. The one for meta/conf/toasterconf.json needs to go to the oe-core
mailing list; the one for meta-yocto/conf/toasterconf.json needs to go the
yocto mailing list.

AR's:

Brian - Review Michael's image customization patch set so it can be submitted.

Opens:

Michael: When do we want to merge the image customization work. Brian agreed
to review so it can merge.

Belen: It's about this https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7880
and this

https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8422 I really think it's
worth tackling those in 2.1. They are both assigned to Brian, but
realistically, he is not getting much time to do Toaster development at the
moment. I am not sure what's Ed's availability, but this seems his kind of
thing. Is there any chance we could get Ed to work on this during m3? 7880 was
moved to Ed. 8442 was moved Elliot.

Thanks,

Stephen K. Jolley
