These patches look good to me. I've managed to get them to run correctly.

However, my main comment is that we need to make it obvious how to set up
for running these tests, which will need a couple of small code changes
(mentioned in my replies to the patches) and perhaps a README (e.g.
explaining that you need to be in a bitbake build environment etc.).
