OLAP singkatan dari Online Analytical Processing OLAP merupakan proses analisa data berdasarkan bisnis tren yang diperoleh dari data warehouse secara online. Saat ini oleh microsoft disebut juga Bisnis Intellegent (BI)
dimana data dari production di naikan dengan proses OLTP kedalam data warehouse yang bentuk cube (multidimensional) database sehingga memudahkan dalam melakukan OLAP dengan lebih effektif dan lebih cepat.
