Update with respect to Divena's case

Today has been a very long day for me.

Divena's parents are ok now. They haven't taken food till the operation is
over and they got her the medicines suggested by the doctors. I bought them
ButterMilk but they didn't drink.

They also have given me a list of articles that are required for Divena.

Flask -- Rs. 95

Hotbox -- Rs. 75

Paste -- Rs. 6

Brush -- Rs. 10

TongueCleaner --

Glass -- Rs. 10

Spoon -- Rs. 5

Towels - 2 -- Rs. 70

Shirts - 2 -- Rs. 110

Long Skirts (Pavadalu/Langalu) - 2 -- Rs. 110

One pair of Slippers --

He also bought a plate for Rs. 20.

I rang to Kasyap. He doesn't have vehicle with him and also very busy. But
still he bought the things and even went to NIMS (at 9:45 pm) and gave them
to Divena's mother.

He was in office till 8 pm and he came to my house by 9 pm after buying the
articles. I again thought of giving those articles tonight itself as Sarath
can come only after 11:00 am. Kasyap agreed. Meanwhile Divena's father too
ranged and said that they are needed by the time Divena gets consciousness,
means early in the morning. (The boy Ganesh who got operated this morning
only got consciousness by this evening itself.)

The total amount is Rs. 512. I gave Rs. 500.

Only Tongue Cleaner and Slippers, he couldn't buy. We told Divena's father
to buy them.

Approximately at 2:30 pm, I was with Paparao garu for taking him to Eco
test, we were waiting for the lift. Divena's parents are also there. While
we (Paparao garu, myself and a worker woman) were coming from the operation
theatre side, they are taking a stretcher with some machine on it towards
the operation theatre. The worker woman told us that it means operation is
over and they will bring the patient in that stretcher after half an hour or
so. On hearing that we were eager to know the result.

A woman came from the side room and called Divena and took her father
inside. I was like dumb. It was as if my heart stopped beating for few
seconds on why she took him only inside. He was inside for 5 minutes. I was
very anxious. He came out and said that she asked him money. He told her
that he doesn't have money and we are helping them. She can ask me money
later. By that time I started to move with Paparao garu for Eco Test.

While waiting at the operation theatre we have seen a girl by name Pandu, a
3 yr old baby, moving here and there. She got operated few days back. I took
her pictures. She is very active. I took her snaps and showed her. She very
much liked them.

While Divena was being taken to the OT, a 3 yr old kid by name Ganesh also
came down with his mother. He too was getting operated with Divena. I took
his photo as well. This evening her mother ran to me and asked me to show
his son's photo. She was in a very sensitive and emotional mood. She asked
me rather shiveringly. My bad luck, the cell phone got stuck and I couldn't
show her the photo. I comforted her saying that she need not worry as the
boy is doing well and he will be alright.

I have also seen a person carrying his daughter on his back and moving in
Cardiology ward. I then remembered a news item published about a father
carrying his daughter on his back, for treatment in NIMS. The girl is in
very good spirits. No sign of fear or worry on her face. She didn't look
like a patient at all. I shared this news with Satya Krishna and Khaneel
told me that Hrudaya Foundation came forward to help them. Few people also
have sent money to the Andhra Bank Account created on behalf of them. As
there are lack of beds, he is taking her out and coming as outpatient. I
felt very happy that their basic problem is solved. In fact, I remember this
news item very well because my mother keeps on telling me about this case.
As we are already involved with Divena's case, I felt we cannot take one
more right from scratch.
