Hello Friends, *Summary:* Divena is discharged. We paid Rs. 10,000 to the hospital towards the bill. Paid Rs. 500 for medicines for one month Gave Rs. 1500 in cash (Maximum 500 rs. towards charges and 1000 rs. for Divena's needs) She is leaving for Guntur now by 10:30 pm train. Vani and Chaitanya met them in Sec'bad Railway Station.
*In Detail:* At about 3:00 pm, Paul Babu rang to me and informed that they asked us to pay Rs. 15, 561 towards hospital bill by giving Rs. 2000 as concession. We requested the NIMS Director earlier that we can raise only Rs. 20,000. So I rang to Sarath and requested him to come to my office to take me to NIMS. Meanwhile I requested my mother to search for the xerox copy of the Divena's surgery estimation on which we have the concession calculation given by the Director's PA. Meanwhile I took permission in office that I will leave early today. We came home and thanks to my mother we got the xerox papers and also the DD (of Rs. 1000 that was sent by Eenadu people for Divena.) Immediately we went to NIMS and unfortunately Dr. Ram Mohan Rao garu (the RMO with whom we spoke) was leaving and when I asked he suggested me to consult other RMO. Not knowing what to do I sat there for a while and decided to contact the PA madam only. She recognized me and told me that the Director is out of station and to contact tomorrow morning. When I told that they are asked to leave today, she said that she will stop and permit them to wait. Somehow she asked me to contact Mr. Satyanarayana, Medical Officer and rang to him. We went there and he asked me to get the bill. We got the bill and waited for 20 minutes or so. Then they typed a document with details of Divena and the estimation, actual bill, paid amount and pending amount. Asked us to pay 10,000 rs. and get the receipt. While we were waiting I requested Sarath to withdraw the amount and he got and we are lucky. So we paid the amount and took the receipt to Sri Satyanarayana. He signed on the bill asking them to give concession for Rs. 7,561. I thanked him and then we went to the cash counter to get the No Dues Certificate. Keeping Paul there in the queue we went to Divena and spoke with Divena's parents and Divena. Nurses gave the list of medicines for one month. We gave 500 rs. towards medicines and Paul went and bought them. I took all the medical bills that they saved so far (to give to Pranahitha). Then we took leave.
