Good Morning.
This is regarding the monthly donations.
I got my UTI account yesterday. I didn't go through the papers yet
but still I can have my salary credited to UTI account only.
I wish to collect the money from March only.
Even if people from US send lumpsum at a time, we should calculate
the amount per month and use it in every month.
So based on the total amount accumulated we decided to spend the
money in proportions.
1) Medical Help (This we will continue for people who do not have any
support at all).
a) Also we will try to act as mediators if we know any people who
can be of help in particular cases. We spend our time and effort more
when compared to money.
2) Donating in the form of necessities to orphanages, old age homes,
schools in slums, NGOs (for example Ashray-Akruti), home for mentally
retarded etc.,
a) We will visit in person and verify whether particular NGOs or
concerned people are genuine or not. Then only we will offer our help
and that to not by giving money but by giving necessities.
This we will do it both in Hyderabad and Bangalore. If in one
particular month, we give in Hyderabad, we will give it in Bangalore
the next month (provided the members of particular place and
especially the one who introduces us to particular NGO should take
the responsibility).
We all can decide and can donate to any NGO at any place. Say for
example, Child Aid Foundation in Vijayawada.
This decision should be taken in the monthly meeting of every month.
I wish it would be good if we decide before hand to whom we are
willing to donate the next month, we can give the money by 15th of
the month.
WE WISH MONEY BE TRANSFERED TO MY ACCOUNT BY 10th OF EVERY
MONTH.
Note: Actually I decided to donate Rs. 1000 every month from March.
But I am thinking of spending 250 rs out of it for miscellaneous
expenditure that I incur (say for getting a bank statement (citibank
charges Rs. 100))
Please come up with your suggestions.
Also please reply who are willing to give monthly donations and also
the amount. How much money is not the criteria, but giving the same
amount regularly is the point of concern. So think well and decide
how much you can gladly give.
