Krishna...here are some little tuneups that might save time & stress to u:
As much as possible...ask sireeshas' parents to meet you at the place of work directly. I dont' know how u are doing it...but...you going and picking them up from their home is more time consuming. Now that they are used to the places they are frequently visiting...I am sure they can come down on their own. Are they familiar with the bus routes? (If more visits are involved....helping them with bus pass will avoid us giving them money ahead for tickets and all that abc's. Might also be of help when they have to visit hospital in future and have go in and out on work. Doesnt' govt provide free conveyance or something such like cards they can show to travel in RTC for free etc?? Just wondering...) Make sure they understand that they have to be on time ( close to atleast). U waiting and they showing up half hr later or hr later....should be avoided if possible. As and when possible...never hesitate to let the concerned officer or staff know that you are very much waiting in the line...but might have to go and take care of something quickly...(something related to this case) and shall be back. U will be surprised how much this will come of help at times. Try it and see :) when needed. Same goes around when you have no time to wait in line. Mention that u r working for a social organisation..and are supporting the case as part of it. Explain that you have a full time business but are breaking up work hrs for this job. Hey..an auto fellow understood what this is...wont' another such exist somewhere else?? I dont' know how other members will feel about this...but...if ur next stop on work is not too far..I would ask you to take an auto..since so many tickets might account the same anyways. Donot use buses unless the distance of travel is too far....or it is way safer and comfortable to do so. Even in that...if I were you..I would take a Metro liner. I wouldn't mind letting you spend those extra 20 rupees aginst that time and energy saved. You might hesitate with the thought that it is group money involved...and hence the point. No one will qn you on this :) Plan you work on priority basis....even if it is this case Vs. ur work /personal life. Sitting all night to make up for all the work is a bit hard...specially with a family. I am sure if all the things you did in that one day...could partly be postponed to the next day or the next. Two to three day delays...hopefully will not cost life in this case...though I agree/appreciate ur desire to take care of it all at the earliest. Carry a divided folder...for easy help with papers. My best pal...bottle of water...always :D Little things eat up time.....more so when it comes to government concerns. Hope these come of some use. If I could save half hr of urs...my two cents are paid for. -Divya Ok..this might sound funny to some..but this thought has been bothering me a lot on and off. Do these people even have decent pair of footwear? Decent as in not broken/cut/ready to give away anytime. Many dont' pay attention to these things :(
