Hello Friends, This is a brief review of our activities in March.
(I request bangalore members to brief up activities as such.) March 5 - We conducted a blood donation camp on behalf of MAD anniversary March 18 - Visited Ashray Akruti, City High School and met few kids in slum March 22 - Hrudaya Foundation approved to help in Sireesha's case Blood Donation camp Murali co-ordinated with Red Cross people and the majority of the credit goes to him for making this a successful event. Total 36 members donated blood. Venue is free. 7 to 8 member crew came from Red Cross. Expenses: Rs. 1390 50 Apples (@13 each) -- Rs. 650 2 MAD banners -- Rs. 300 3 Dozen Oranges -120+10(auto) = Rs.130.00 Meals for Red Cross crew:(5 parcels @40 each) = Rs.200.00 Tea = Rs. 60.00 10 Chairs on rent = Rs. 50.00 Total amount spent by me: 650 + 300 = 950 rs Total amount spent by Chandra: 130+200+60+50 = 440 rs Sireesha's case Mr. Krishna has been taking care of Sireesha's case eversince the case is forwarded to us through email from WWHY group. Kudos to his efforts and dedication. Mr. Krishna consulted Gandhi hospital and get the tests done and also the recommendation report to CARE Hospital. Find out the details of various formalities and did the paper work Spoke with Hrudaya Foundation and Little Hearts Foundation Is in touch with Sireesha's family and helping them in their hour of need by accompanying them to hospital, buying medicines, extending moral support etc., He also had to consult various influential persons to get the work done faster than normal course. Rs. 3000 on behalf of MAD group (Pavan Pyda, Subrahmanyam Mula and Thottempudi Suneel @1000 each) Rs. 5000 on behalf of WWHY group Money that is generated: Koteswara Rao --- Rs. 3500 Mahidhar --- Rs. 500 Vijay Meda --- Rs. 2100 Raju's case Raju got some infection and caught fever and so he has to be admitted in Mahavir Hospital. Pavan Pyda has sent Rs. 1500 for Raju's treatment. Rs. 12000 is spent so far on behalf of MAD group Monthly Donations: We began collecting monthly donations from this month only. (Ofcourse Thottempudi Suneel has been sending Rs. 500 every month for the past few months and from this month he will be giving Rs. 1000 and Subrahmanyam Mula also used to send regularly and other members also donated projectwise) Received monthly donations from the following members: Sowmya --- Rs. 500 Murali --- Rs. 500 Jairam --- Rs. 500 Suneel --- Rs. 1000 Chandra --- Rs. 250 Anil Veeragandham --- Rs. 100 US members donation is also being sent. I don't know if it is struck half-way or it was transferred. I need to confirm it from Chandrareddy garu. P.S. Bangalore and US members also come up with a report of this sort. You can suggest the new members joined on behalf of you. The activities that you took up (even though we do individually, we can include them as MAD activities :) like I did with respect to my visit on 18th March).
