Hello Friends,

Good Morning/Evening.

Me and Sowmya went to Eenadu office by 3:40 pm. We had a good
discussion with Amruta garu.

The following is the gist of it.

1. Eenadu considers the cases of children below 12 yrs of age when it
comes to health.

2. They cross-check and confirm the cases. Only printed cases can be
posted online.

3. They do not give the money lumpsum but they release it at
intervals. If they get more money for a case, they will give it for
medication. If still there is money, they deposit in the name of the kid.

4. If some donor enquires about a case for which the money is already
generated, they inform the same to the donor and if they are
interested, they will show other cases.

5. Coming to our idea of considering a sort of tie-up with hospitals,
she opined that the higher officials might not be interested.

6. Donors list anyway is confidential and they can't disclose and also
there is no list as such. Donors details are there case wise. They do
not follow up with them. They just inform them of the proceedings of
the case, whether they are operated or not, which hospital etc.,

7. They do not know any organizations which help or which are working
in selected domains. Donors are individuals nor organizations.

The end result of the discussion:

Instead of what we proposed, she said that she will try to introduce
us to the people who writes cover stories etc., When they write or
wish to write on activities that we do, she will inform me and we can
plan for it.

So I told her like 'It is fine and we can invite other groups who are
associated with us and convene a meeting one day so that the reporter
can come and write'.

I think it is the time we get this kind of publicity wherein we voice
our opinion. We are not after them to write a report on us. But when
they wish to write, they will consider.

If you have any questions, you can shoot :)

Thank you.

with regards,
PRASANTHI.
