Good Morning, Srinivas.

So you people have got an idea on the disease and the necessity for
the publicity of the cause and our help to them.

Regarding talking with the parents, it has a greater significance. As
Thalessemia is a hereditary disease, there are chances that their
blood relatives are either carriers or minors. So it is must that
they should get tested and if they are married their spouses too.
They should take every care to not to give birth to a Thalessemic
Major kid. We need to educate those parents of the necessity and
importance of their blood relatives to undergo a test.

Thank you.

cross), and also provides free medical advice from the doctor for all
the required patients. The test for recognising a Thalassemia carrier
(or not) takes Rs 500 (it may be reduced if we go in bulk). They are
very much interested to spread the message regarding the disease and
its prevention. That is the reason they wanted volunteers. They also
collect donations.

cause. We have assured her that we(MAD) will first get themselves
tested before going on a teaching spree :).We also assured her that
we wld bring this to the notice of our companies so that the message
spreads and everyone undergoes the test.

parents or relatives who come there.Since they have already got to
know abt this , we are not much sure of the help required in that
front.
