Hello Koteswara Rao garu, A very good mail from you choked with emotion.
Doing works without attachment and selfish motives and with a kind heart gives us immense satisfaction. sahAyaM poMdina vALLa kaLLalO kanpiMchE Ardrata, AnaMdaM chUsAka kaligE anubhUti varNiMchalEnidi. bhagavaMtuDiki eMtO kRutajNjatalu cheppukOvAlanipistuMdi. okaTi manaM alAMTi sthitilO lEkapOvaDaM, reMDu sahAyaM chEyAlanE ASanu, chEyagaligE avakASAnni kalpiMchinaMduku. Being far is not a constraint at all though you cannot participate in person, you can extend moral support, monetary support and guidance through valuable suggestions, which you have been doing. I read a beautiful story and the basic motto I added in our group's main page. A thief, who is a priosoner, received a letter from his father expressing his inability to dig his backyard for farming or something. He desperately wishes to help him. So he tells to Police that he has stored a ransom in his backyard. Then police comes and searches the backyard. He then writes a reply to his father saying that this is all he could do. NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD, IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART, YOU CAN DO IT. IT IS THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS NOT WHERE YOU ARE OR WHERE THE PERSON IS. We will keep you all informed of our activities here and you can give us your valuable suggestions and/or monetary help. Thank you. --- In [email protected], Kandula KoteswaraRao <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello Prasanthi garu & friends, > Its really a good message indeed. The gist of this message is do the service with non-attachment, as I understand. I remember the same message is advocated by Swami Vivekananda. I studied this in 'Secret of Work' a lesson in Intermediate first year English. Some of those teachings, which I put in practice gave me the fruits in my past. > I knew it as a chapter in 'Complete Works Vol.III'...I acknowledge Sitaram Jakka garu for your reminder about this in your mail long back. > I asked my friends in Navodaya(as I belong to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Ongole) to give back something to society, as Society has provided us good platform for education in our school life. I hope more of Navodayans will take part in this group actively and will back something solid to society. Already three of my classmates G.Gopi Krishna, K.Chandrasekhar & K.Raghu Prasad have joined this group. > Some of my classmates(Navodayans) have started doing their part silently in their villages to the society. > The message has touched me, as I was helped by so many people during my education life. Without their help and support, I wouldn't have become what I am today. > Frankly I have not done much to society, except working in Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, doing autopilot design of rockets/satellite launchers. > I am ready to be volunteer but I am away from place Hyderabad(which I like most in India). > I support the idea of distributing food to old people and orphans. I am ready for it for donating money if somebody starts. I would have volunteered myself, had I been in Hyderabad. > I support all the cases being taken up by the group within my constraints. > "Feel for the poor needy, then comes the power to help'' (as I remember is quote by Swami Vivekananda). Sitaram garu, sorry that I couldn't quote exactly what Swamiji had told. > > Koteswara Rao > > Lakshmi Prasanthi Uppalapati <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > During our lives we accept the help rendered to us by many thousands.
