Though the meeting went on well and there are few new faces, I personally felt very disappointed. I would not mind only if 4 members are present but people who promised to come didn't attend and didn't even inform that they cannot make it for the meeting. I understand there are so many things to deal with. But we must have commitment to the cause that we support and the group we are part of. We actually have taken 10 chairs on rent to accommodate all the new members who are supposed to come. I cannot ring to each and every member and invite (even I do not have all the numbers). If you cannot spare two , two and half hours of your time/month to attend a meeting, what sort of co-operation we can expect from you? I am sorry to be a bit harsh but this is the true feeling. I see the count dancing between 130 and 135. If you are not interested in the activities, gladly unsubscribe. Do not join for the sake of joining. Will post the meeting minutes either tonight or tomorrow morning. Thank you.
