Agree on More the delay...more the damage.

Good job on the table u prepared. It is half work done here.

Going with the material next sat/sun: I dont' c why we cannot go ahead
and buy the note books first. We can keep working on finding a tutor
paralelly....but this shudn't stop us from deciding on buying
materials needed to start with. I say YES to this rightaway.

I think there is no need to talk to Balamma anymore unless she is
informative in anyway...or someone likes her company :)) This kind of
people are useless since we get no valid information or answers from
them anyways. A tenth pass student teaching the rest and we paying
her/him cash for this is a big NO. I bet u guys decided the same when
she suggested this. We seriously have to think of other options.

About this school thr...can one of you guys mail some more info. Did I
miss a mail that had all this info previously itself? If so..pls give
me a mail no I can refer to. I was wanting to know if this is a ZPPS
kind of a school...or a general school with no tutors/teachers...or no
active teachers....or a school that lacks something els. I will share
more ideas once I have this info.

reopned in the second week of June but not much progress(almost no
progress) in helping out them. when this topic came for discussion in
the meeting , I have shared my idea of putting the full stop to this
issue by this weekend. if we delay it more and more , the help we
give will be of no use (meaning it wont be effective as it is already
2 weeks since the scools reopned and children are in bad need of
material like notebooks etc aeap)..

called the children and had good interaction with each and every
child(when we talk to the parents they are always giving false
statements) and clearly noted down what each child needs(the info
collected from the child itself) and prepared one table with the
following details.

father/mother. Also by seeing the situation of the children , we were
liberal this time . We have considered the children whose parents are
very poor (those who migrated to this village and living on daily wages)

present.
> (4) Subjects they have : Most of them have 3 or more subjects and
the max No of subjects is 6.Each subject has 2 papers. All were given
textbooks .If we (can) provide notebooks, pens, pencils, bags, geometry
box(only for 8th class) etc .. that is very helpful to them (this is
what they are eagerly waiting for)

science needs one side plain, hindi needs double ruled and other
subjets needs single ruled notebooks.

either on sat/sunday with all material.I hope, we do it ...

to us as contact person). We told our idea to her clearly that we
wanted to help only poor children and want her help in finding out
them. She and her husband called nearby children ..ofcourse ..most of
the the process done genuinely .. at the end when we were about to
take leave from the couple.. balamma called her grand child and humbly
said " sir this is my grandson..pls note down his name too" .. U know
?..they are well to do family when compared to others ..Baalammaaa

so) and her daughter-in-law is an SSC student and can conduct
