Hi all. Thanks a ton for all your valuable inputs about the website. I have made some of the changes which were suggested. I am giving a step by step reply to Raghu's comments. However, I have taken care of others' comments as well, do let me know if I missed something!
1. Make the name in the home page "To Make A Difference" as a link and if clicked, should be pointed to the home page. Done. But not all pages. 2. The home page should be as precise as possible and all the information provided should be kept in "About Us" page. Not sure of content. I request everyone to help me with the content. 3. There should be another link in the main menu for "Photo Gallery" where the photos taken out of our activities can be uploaded. I have created the link. But need to upload photos there. Will the photos listed in Yahoo Group do? 4. Contact Us information if kept in home page, it will be a good job, I guess. Not sure. Contact us can be kept seperate as well. Need additional comments on this. 5. The names of the "Activities" if mentioned will be more specific. As an end user if he sees it as "Activity-1, 2 or 3", he will really not understand what it is. Rather we can put one more link in the main menu for "Activities". Yeah. As Du said(in orkut comunity), we are not sure of content, so I request members to help me with content. 6. How can people come to know how to join? If we change the links to "Join Us" and put the links of Yahoo and Orkut there, then it may feel good. Done. Another update: I have updated the members page. All I did is get the Yahoo IDs of people, read from their Yahoo profiles and updatte in the list. I know there are many flaws, but we can go about with this before we create a dedicated database for that. I request all members to update their profiles so that correct information can be seen there. A Question: Does anyone know which hosting service we are using to host the website. It seems that the hosting service supports ASP.NET. But I have no touch with ASP programming, though I can try it out. Also I would like to know if we have access to a database like MySQL provided by the hosting service. If that is the case, I would be awating a response on the username,password,IP etc.. of the database server. Thanks for all the feedback, but we need more and more of it!
