By hinting at "Report" Suresh actually means where do we stand in addressing the issue in its broader sense and Prasanthi is looking at the micro level( in line with our introductory story ) it has made/would make a difference to this particular child.
The obvious question that stikes us is where do we start. We, as a group have to obviously need to work at both the levels. There would be such/similar large number of issues and subjects which would call for our attention, as we go along we would realise that v may not be able to take up all issues - but a begining has to be made. The first and foremst that comes to my mind is that v start looking at ourself and around us there is so much that v as citizens and at times as human beings need to correct/change.( I am sure v all know ) To make a diff at both the levels - micro and macro is great, at macro level the impact and visbility is more. Here I would like to give an example, this is with ref. to the mail that v r sending regarding eye donation, the same can be done at a large scale covering the whole of the state, starting with HYD city. We can enlist eye banks of the states and have small pledge cards made and make them avaibale in all the major departmental stores , organise few talk shows at few colleges and get it covered by radio and TV. I am sure we would have large numbers of doners pledging their eyes. V can discuss this at length when v meet on 3rd sep. looking forward to meet u all. --- ulprasanthi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello Suresh, > > I asked Leela (my servant maid) to get me the > details.
