Hello Friends, Good Morning/Evening.
Today I could complete 80% of my pending work. I went to the Neo Central school (Agapura) with Anil. It was very difficult to find out the place but we could find it at last. I paid only 6-month fee for all the 4 children so that I can say to them that if they are not regular or don't get good marks, we will not pay the remaining 6 months fee. Actually they(Parents) paid Rs. 700 for all the 4 children. The Principal Mr. Kishore is very co-operative and he complained me that the children are irregular. I asked him to take special interest and also I told him that I will ask my servant maid to bring the attendance card and marks card to me regularly. He hesitantly asked me if we are interested to help any muslim children. I replied to him that we can help. He told me of a very bright student Ms. Farhana Fathima studying 9th class. He says that she will give us the result and she is very intelligent and hardworking too. Last year also she couldn't pay the fee and one donor paid for her. But this year, the donor only sponsored for books. But he is allowing her to study as she is a good student. For all the children he gave 10% discount. For Ms. Fathima, he didn't take the term fee also. I will post the details tomorrow. I will scan and post to the Files section. Thanks to Murali. He is helping me with scanning. Coming to other work, I went to the Bata Showroom to collect the shoes of Domalguda children (vonumu.com) and went there. They are ready with uniform. We took the snaps of them one single and one with parents with both white and grey uniform. But I got confused and then took few children to Bata Showroom again for correct pairs. One girl had to change her new uniform as it is too tight for her. I was not feeling well from yesterday afternoon and today I went only because it has been pending and I only have to complete it. Still we couldn't complete as 5 children stay in other places and these are holidays. So I can take their snaps only on Oct 4th when school gets re-opened. I am a bit ashamed to say 'Not feeling well' rather frequently. But it has been the case with me. I am getting severe headache. I decided to take complete rest during the Vijayadasami weekend. We will not have any activities during that week. I am planning not to attend a meeting tomorrow. This is convened for telugu literature and fine arts lovers. As you all are aware, we have been trying to meet as many like-minded people as possible. Tomorrow we will be meeting friends from telugublog (they are a special wing of telugubrains yahoo group who concentrates on encouraging telugu speaking, writing and also developing software in telugu and to maintain a telugu digital library which comprises of our rich telugu literal heritage). I feel like very tired and I am afraid that if I attend the meeting, I will have to take leave on Monday. (This happened with me 3 times. 3 successive mondays I was on leave). This time I cannot afford as I have important work in office as well. Those who are interested can attend tomorrow's meeting. The next one will be our monthly meeting day. Then I will be off to Nellore for the meeting on the book, 'Oka Dalari Paschattapam'.
