recently the govt made a law about child labor [in fact the law was always there, now they want to enforce it with rigor.] in spite of all that, two things happen: 1. children continue to be employed - this is not as bad as... 2. They are taken away from, say the hotel or someplace where they are working and are not given a decent alternative it is like 'wife is gone, also the keep is gone' or, amma pettadu, adukku tina nivvadu i wonder if we could follow up with some such cases, where they are left stranded they lose their job, and there is no alternative for this we need someone who could research we need to figure out children at work + children 'rescued' by the govt but then abandoned. and then bring them to the notice of the administration pa1 Kumar: ok === I have no idea what we could do and how we go about it; I know that with regard to bonded laborers in Telangana Shanta Sinha of Shramik Vidyapeeth did excellent work; if someone could visit (it is in panjagutta, dwarkapuri - road beside pantaloon bldg) and gain some insight it would be great. Needless to say, the 'employers' of child labor will not be happy about the situ. We must be aware of that too. Where the rescued children cannot be helped by administration, on a case by case basis - we need to find them support. I know my thoughts at this point are half-baked. There is no data nor vision; I am just asking let us consider an initiative.
