Hello Friends, This is a special case which we didn't take up earlier. Even now also I am not posting this for help on behalf of the group. But to reach to everyone I am posting it to the group.
Please read the following and see if anyone of you are personally interested in the case and help the poor family. ========================================== There are two servant maids in our housing complex. The one who doesn't work for us is Ms. Renuka. Her sister is 30+ yrs old and they can't marry her because of dowry and marriage expenses. She works for owner aunty and a neighbouring aunty. Owner aunty constructed a house for them worth Rs.3 lakhs and it is under their 'Tanakha/Debt'. Earlier when they got some alliance of a hospital attender where they asked some 50k dowry and bike, owner aunty told them to go for a person which matches their financial status. So that alliance was not fixed. Now they got an alliance of a construction worker (Taapee Mestri). They didn't ask for any dowry other than good dress, watch and a ring. They will do the marriage in YadagiriGutta in Maghamasam (which commenses after Jan 20th). Renuka asked neighbouring aunty, amount for watch and ring and she said she would pay in instalments periodically. Aunty told her that she need not give money back and she will donate watch herself. She also told to her about our activities and said that she will ask me and today she told to my mother and to me. My mother showed interest in giving dress for the couple. One of the members in the housing complex gave saree for her mother. I told aunty that I cannot take up this case on behalf of the group but I can ask my friends since it is also a good cause to help.
