Hello Friends, I have some ideas for the Thalessemia Campaign here in Hyderabad.
We can visit government schools and provide library and any other facilities that we can fetch, with the help of other NGOs. So I am contemplating the idea of collecting blood samples of the children and get those tested for Thalessemia and also the blood group. I want to talk to Kishore Putta Foundation and request them for sponsorship for these tests. I also want to request Dr. Tapadia to lessen the cost of the test as we get so many samples, children in schools means we will get so much data. Ofcourse for this, we need to find out the list of schools where TSCS already tested. This is all a contemplation. For that we need to take permission of school principals and also the NGO to sponsor and request TSCS to lessen the cost. Usually the test costs Rs. 650 and for our group members, they are doing it for Rs. 400. Thank you.
