Hello Friends, I wish to start this new discussion. I wish to share this mail of Jairam to me on this topic. I feel that Jairam do not mind if I share with you all. I strongly feel a necessity that the group should also know about his thoughts and feelings as he is the volunteer who served few medical cases that we take up.
======================================================= what is the status on that report..did u consulted any doctor...on that day i felt very bad to leave the children again in hospital..but there is no solution to that..wht kasyap said is correct...even then i cannot tell to myself...there are so many people who are suffering like that..in hospital i have seen some patients sleeping on floor....Even the response from nurses is not proper..first they said that patient had left...Goverment doctors will do strike for their increase in salary i dont know why they don't do to increase in facilities of the hospital....these hospitals are in lack of medicines also(they are asking the patients to buy outside)...From these 3 days i am thinking this in my corner of my mind...I dont know wht can we do for that....Just want to share my personal thoughts regarding this case.... ======================================================= Let us have a fruitful discussion on what we can do for the medical cases that we crop up, specially in each govt. hospital. KK garu also opined that since the news is in paper, we came to help this family. But others in the hospital are also more or less of the same state. So what can we do for them? Food anyways is provided by the government hospitals for the patients and to one person who accompanies them. He too has experience visiting different hospitals in Vizag. He even served the patients in the mental hospital. Can we go to the hospitals and just observe as common people to see how we can help and what are the areas we can help without poking our noses on the increased corruption or carelessness. You may consider me as a coward. No problem. I very much like the statement of Jim Corbett, 'Discretion is better than Valour'. If there is bad everywhere, if we want to clean, we shouldn't shout that there is mud but we should try to get water and should start cleaning. Similarly if there is more corruption, we should increase the strength of good people. Big line and small line concept. If you want to make a big line small, increase the size of the small line beside it. If we do not object and point out people and then take them into confidence, we can do much better. If we say that 'Doctors, you are not taking proper care', they will get irritated. Instead we can say, 'Doctors, please consider this case. We want to help them in whatever way possible, monetarily, by donating blood, providing food etc., We will clean the premises.' Thank you. with regards, Prasanthi.
