Anniversary Celebrations & April MOM

Better late than never :)

Anniversary Celebrations:

Total participants: Du, pavan, Raghu, Anil, vineel, Ramesh, Jitendra, Adi

We started with normal introductions and discussed all the activities that
we have done last

Year. Then, we played treasure hunt. Though we tried a lot and got tired in
the hot sun, we were not able to find any clue except the last one. At last,
we were able to find the last clue where the treasure is hidden. Its mine,
anils and vineels combined effort. Anil and I refused to take the treasure.
So, the whole treasure goes to vineel only. Btw, the treasure is - 500 (read
it as minus five hundred), a contribution of 500/- to our MAD group.
Congratulations Vineel, well done.

After that, we had lunch, consisting of pulihora and curd rice. Actually, we
expected around 20 people to come and ordered food for 20 people. But only
8 turned up.

After lunch, we again discussed about future activities.

Decisions :

Registration fee 100/- per month is compulsory for all the members.

Jalamangala Reactivation -> We decided to start with the school as the
academic year is going to start in few weeks. Need to discuss with karthik's
parents.

There is one more telugu medium school in Bangalore, want to adopt that
school also.

Should visit various NGO's around their (members) localities.

At last, we ended up playing holi and with photo sessions.

April MOM:

Attendees: Du, Pavan, vineel, Anil, Laya

Divya:

Divya is a physically and mentally handicapped girl, a neighbor of laya. We
are planning to join her in NIMHANS Rehabilitation Centre. For that we have
to contact the doctors first and then take her (Divya) to the hospital.

Oncology Doctor:

Laya has a cousin who is an oncology doctor. Have to keep in touch with him
regarding any Medical help as he knows many doctors.

Media contacts - TV9:

Need to find details on how to contact TV9 and get in touch with them for
any future cases.

Need to find details about abhayasram

Villages - cancer awareness program:

Breast cancer is most common in many women at the age of around 40 - 45. If
they got to know that and get cured at early stages only, it would not be
much difficult. Otherwise it would become much difficult and may be
expensive also. Most of the village women are unaware of this. So, we are
planning for some kind of medical camps and conduct cancer awareness program
in the nearby villages with the help of laya's cousin (oncology doctor).
Need to contact him and find details.

Regards,

RajaSekhar
