Minutes of the meeting:
1) Registration: It is important , however, the current situation may not be
ideal. This was a unanimous decision.
2) Purohita: There is scope for some clarification that is required and until
then a consensus cannot be reached.
3) Roles & Responsibilities: This is back again on the agenda and it has to.
We decided we have to keep trying until we get this to working. What we have
also decided is to set individual targets and milestones. Here are the roles
and the volunteers who would be taking on this
a) Newsletter: Karthik & Divya
Target: To publish the first newsletter by the end of May.
Responsibilities:
To publish newsletters every quarter
To coordinate and communicate other teams to gather information.
b) Accounting: Yashodha & Chandra
Target: To publish the accounts statement by the end of May.
Responsibilities:
To publish account statements every quarter
To provide a budget analysis before we take up a project.
c) Volunteer Coordination: Sravan
Target: To contact & communicate with atleast 10 volunteers among the US
team members just to get the pulse and get their opinion , suggestion,
comments etc.
Responsibilities:
To coordinate and communicate with the volunteers on a periodic basis
at an individual level. This is more to keep up the spirits and address any
issues or concerns.
To keep the volunteers motivated.
d) Friendly Groups/NGO's: Suneel
Target: To build a database of our friendly NGO's , groups , individuals
which will include name, email and any other conatct information.
Responsibility: To be on the lookout for friendly organizations and keep
updating our database.
To publish such lists periodically.
To start contacting these friendly groups/NGO's and establish a
relationship.
Please note the targets will be revised periodically. I haven't taken any
specific role , but i volunteer to coordinate with the above team and try to
keep the process going as a team.
