Hello Friends,

You all might be wondering on why these many mails and these many
questions.

We are in a crucial phase of our group and we are heading for
registration.

There can be difference of opinions and arguments. Fine. But at the
end, we all should be on the same page.

We must have a clear understanding of our history, why we started a
group, why another group in the bunch of so many registered and
unregistered groups, why are we here.

Also when we take up an activity, every volunteer who is involved
and other members who are not part of it too, should know why we
took up the case, why are we approaching it in a way that we are
working etc.,

At the end there should not be questions like why particular
decision has been taken. After all everyone is reported and updated.
When it is so, there should not be questions like, if we spent that
money for some other cause, that would yield more results etc.,
There shouldn't be such a comparison.

When we decide to take up something, when we know how much money is
involved, any objection should be raised before taking it up, while
discussing on whether we take it up or not.

When some members are interested in the case and when they are ready
to donate, there should not be comments like we shouldn't have taken
the case... we shouldn't this and we shouldn't that. This is most
uncalled for.

This is a platform for the people to do the activities that they are
interested in. We are trying our level best to work in a manner that
should satisfy most of the members, if not everyone. It is not easy
to please everyone, even for god also.

The request to each and every member is that first try to understand
the ideals of the group very well. If you are not interested in an
activity, do not work for it and be a part of it.

Instead, if you can, suggest an activity that you are interested in
and for which you can take the responsibility. Convince the group on
how the particular project would match our ideals and what you think
the result would be, your vision for it.

If you can't, if your time does not permit, fine, be silent.

Never ever try to comment the other activity (after a decision is
taken based on a consensus or agreed to proceed with the support of
few members). Let us not poke in other teams activities. Concentrate
on what we can do for the group.

Also when we discuss, if there are many options, different points of
view, instead of arguing, let us write the pros and cons of each
method, tally it and then take a decision. If we can, let us come
with an alternative model which combines the best of all the options.

When a member is interested in an activity, give your suggestions,
share the reasons on why you think that as a good idea. But do not
try to stop the activity altogether.

Please co-operate. After all, all of us are here for a good cause
with a good motto.

Open up. Think aloud. Share your views. Let us form an ideal group.

Thank you.

with regards,
Prasanthi.
