*Minutes of Meeting – Hyderabad Monthly Meeting – June 3rd 2007*

Karthik, Kasyap, Shiv Shankar, Santosh, Vani, Prasanthi, Chaitanya, Ram
(Kasyap's Brother), Veena, Supriya (Friends of Srinivas), 3 cousins of
Prasanthi, BalaSubramaniam and his mother (Education case referred by
Dr.Sundar) (Sorry if I missed out any)
*Issues Discussed:*
1.
*Registration of the Group:*
1.
We have decided to go ahead and get the group registered, and
also identified the body for this year so that we can start the process
required for registration.
2.
We need to meet a CA in this regard and get the clarifications
made in regard to tax exemptions and Foreign Funds.

*Funds for Individual Cases:*
1.
To make a decision based on group funds for individual cases,
the current funds information is required, so Prasanthi and SatyaKrishna
will get the details ready by 10th of June.
2.
Since the academic year is starting, we need to go through the
list of already decided candidates whom we thought of supporting
and check
with the schools on the same and the payments have to be made
accordingly.
3.
Based on the details of the funds and the amount required to be
paid we will have to categorize the amount accordingly for education and
medical cases.
4.
Till that point we have decided to keep decision on supporting
any medical cases on hold.
5.
Vani and Prasanthi opined that the amount from the group fund
for a medical case per quarter of Rs. 10,000/- is not sufficient
for a case
so instead of handling 3 cases per quarter (worth Rs.30 ,000/-),
we can handle one case per quarter where we can spend Rs.30
,000/-
6. Pavan has already sent Rs. 5000/- to Purohita but since
Prasanthi didn't get any education details letter from Purohita,
this case
is kept on hold. We might give a last trial soon by calling to
Purohita and
then decide whether to take up the case or not. Pavan will be reimbursed
with the money from the group fund (allocated to education team).

*Project Library:* The education team will start the activity on
Project Library and they will discuss among themselves on the implementation
details and will post the activity progress to the main group.
2.
*Project Niloufer:* No progress is made in this project from the last
meeting. Kasyap and Chaitanya will coordinate with Suresh Adina and Ratan
and will update the group accordingly.
3.
*Like Minded Groups Coordination:*
1.
It is felt that this activity should be fastened as it will help
us in providing help for more individuals as the amount of funds
that we can
generate is limited.
2.
Also for activities like Clothes Distribution, etc., we have
many sources from where we can get Clothes but unless we identify the
organizations we will not be able to distribute them properly.
4.
*Miscellaneous*:
1.
Kasyap suggested to publish a monthly bulletin of TMAD so that
it will help us go ahead and spread the word of TMAD and its
activities. He
will start working on the same.
2.
A new education case was forwarded by Dr. Sundar, the kid
attended the meeting and told his details. This will be posted in a
different mail to the group.
3.
We have decided to use the subgroups for discussions on matters
specific to a specified area of work. So that it will be more specific to
that area. And also will decrease the mail count in the main
group. The main
group will be updated bi-weekly on the progress made along with
the summary
of any major discussion by each subgroup.
5.

*NOTE*: The main group will be used to send the MOM, publishing cases which
require funds, Bi-Weekly summary reports by subgroups.
*NOTE*: Group Fund includes Monthly Contributions and donations for no
particular cause.
