Hello Friends, The last weekend has been very successful.
1. Meeting with Harinath and Trivikram garu about OCMS project. 2. Meeting with Rahul and his friends about working together. 3. Meeting with Trivikram garu, Satyakrishna and Kasyap. (This was an extended meeting as they were present in the first two meetings) *OCMS Project* Harinath explained to Trivikram garu about OCMS project. *Agreements:* - Trivikram garu is busy in the month of July. He will start working on this project from August. - Prasanthi will update the Web page on OCMS in our Web site by Thursday. - Prasanthi and Harinath will try to search for the complete details of Microsoft funding for software projects which help poor people and people living in rural areas. No deadline for it as it depends on other people to give us the information. - By the time we get ourselves registered, Prasanthi and Harinath will come up with a Proposal Document to submit to concerned authorities in Microsoft. *Meeting with Rahul and his friends* Vinay, Gowthami and Vineela are Rahul's friends. Vinay and Gowthami completed M.Tech. and recently got jobs. Vineela too got selected and she is not yet joined. *Agreements:* 1. Vinay - Interested to teach in Domalguda slum - Our visit to that slum will be on August first weekend. 2. Gauthami - I added her to our Likemindedgroups subgroup. - She will update us about the groups that she knows. - She will also take the responsibility of visiting orphanages and preparing a report. - She will take an active role in this task. 3. Vineela - She is interested to concentrate on one particular cause and want to serve to the core. - As she stays in Dilshukh Nagar, she wants to look out for the orphanages/old age homes around that area. - Once she gets to know about them, she will decide on which one to take up. 4. Rahul - He will help us in informing about any orphanages/old age homes/mentally retarded homes etc., - He also will help in getting volunteers for our activities. *Meeting with our members* We discussed on how to start the on-field activity in Hyderabad and how to get more number of active volunteers. Divena called us and we assured that we will help her and she need not get tense. We also spoke with Web designer Ram, friend of Satyakrishna. *Agreements* - Ram, Satyakrishna's friend, will come to my house sometime this week to discuss on designing our Web site. - Prasanthi should talk with Kasyap's friend Kiran about a logo for our group - Kasyap will find any other school near by Divena's house - Satyakrishna will talk to his friend in Guntur and will ask him to meet Divena and her parents, once he regain his health. - Prasanthi should discuss with Ravi Shankar and Satyakrishna and plan a meeting either on thursday or friday on accounts with two of them. As I mailed, we got Rs. 1500 contribution (in cash) from Trivikram garu (Rs. 1000) and Poddu Internet Magazine (Rs. 500). Chaitanya rang to me and informed about his discussion with ASHA group member about our ideas in uniting like-minded groups.
