Dear All,

Come October 2nd, the nation celebrates the birth of one of our
modern prophets of peace and development for the poorest of the
poor. Almost 60 years after he's gone we have largely forgotten his
principles and venerated his physical form to godliness building
innumerable temples and statues in hundreds to commemorate his
memory, we could join the nation in garlanding India's last prophet
of peace or take his principles to heart and work towards a better
nation. BHUMI since its inception has been about bringing principles
of our heroes back to life for a nation that will be second to none.

The following activities have been conceived by BHUMI to bring alive
the Gandhi in each of us:

1. Volunteers of BHUMI will congregate at Osmania General Hospital
by 11:00 am to undertake a sanitation and awareness drive, the
volunteers will also help the hospital administration by color
coding important departments to facilitate quicker movement of
patients who come to the hospital in droves in search for a cure.
The idea behind the drive is to highlight government apathy to
public health. Information related to public health spending has
been collated and will be disseminated among the general population
during the drive. The drive will conclude at 4:00 pm in the evening.
Please join us in highlighting the the apathy with which the poorest
in our society are treated by the government.

2. K. V. Seshendra: 9866992663
3. Sai Vadlamani: 9866992671

2. The volunteers of BHUMI will then proceed to Tank Bund for a
candle light vigil starting at 5:30, we are partnering with AID to
highlight the Agrarian crisis and show solidarity with the farmers
community, who are driven to suicides due inept government policies.
