Update: Summary:
Yasoda-Chandra and Srivyal garu showed interest to help Karthik. Sphoorti Foundation will contribute Rs. 5k to Karthik. Karthik needs Rs. 2500 per month for mess and hostel bill. Also he needs Rs. 5000 for notebooks and first year text books. If anyone of us can get him second hand engg. books that is also fine. In Detail: It seems that the hostel building is not yet constructed. So he didn't get money from donors. He has to stay in private hostel and it costs Rs. 2500 per month per mess. Overall Rs. 15000. We can pay this monthly. For books he needs around Rs. 5000 as text books alone (for 12 subjects) may cost Rs. 2500. He said even second hand books also ok. I told him that I will get back to him in a week. Srivyal garu mailed that he will commit 5k from Sphoorti Foundation. I want to take the help of Rajasekhar again to pay the mess bill for one or two months. My aunt's family (my mother's younger sister) is relocating to Vijayanagaram and after two months we can take their help for the same. Coming to books we will see if we can arrange second hand books for the boy or if anyone can donate their first year books also that would be great.
