Hello Friends BDP this year(end) started very unexpectedly. (For all new members, BDP means Blanket Distribution Project)
Venkat sponsored for the blankets of Kollur Ashram School children. We decided to use the remaining 10 blankets of last year's BDP for KAS children. Dr. Sundar's neighbour, Naresh garu, told that he wants to distributed like we did last year and Sundar ordered for another 137 blankets. Naresh garu paid for 100 blankets, 4 blankets are of Lawyer Prasad garu. Kasyap too contributed for few. Sundar bought few for his hospital staff. It seems there is a problem with the stencil (Kasyap told so) and tomorrow he will buy a new one, explains the procedure to the hospital staff and they will paint tomorrow night. They will start distribution from thursday it seems. Today's local papers carried a news item on the cold weather in Hyd and the plight of people who live on streets. Divya told about a home for handicapped children and asked if she can distribute the blankets there. That time we have exact count for KAS children. So I told her like we have to buy again. She told that she will let us know. I told to Sundar about Divya's opinion when he told me about Naresh gari willingness to distribute blankets. It seems that Naresh garu is more interested to give to street people though he doesn't have any special reservation. Thought of asking Divya if she wants to order few but somehow forgot. If anyone are willing to distribute blankets for handicapped children, please let us know. We will order and distribute where Divya suggested. Thank you. with regards, Prasanthi.
