Hello Friends, Somehow felt like sharing it.
We have conducted two meetings. One is on Sep 9th, with all the groups that we know. Second will be on Dec 9th, with all the active volunteers. Third one would be with the CSR wings of all companies. Long back I discussed about setting up of a CSR wing in my company and they responded positively. They asked me to give a presentation and I only delayed it. This time I decided to give a session and our HR Madam agreed to discuss with me. As I was on leave on and off, we couldn't meet. Sometime this month we will finalize. If we can organize a meeting with CSR wings of the companies, it means we complete a circle. With the likeminded groups, through these groups different orphan homes, old age homes and other related organizations and then the CSR wings. By then I think we will get more support for our effort. The next step for the likeminded groups meeting would be to form a network in all places in AP where the members of other groups are staying. We will introduce members of different groups to each other and encourage them to be in touch and co-operate. Co-ordinate in conducting RTI sessions in every district in AP. If the Thalassemia Education Session in Nellore organized by Red Cross is a success (I am sure it will), then we can think of taking the help of Red Cross people in other districts to facilitate Thalassemia sessions. Trying hard to get in touch with Sri Kishore Putta. If he comes into picture we will get more support in all ways. He is very genuine, simple and down-to-earth person.
