Hi!
Kaavya is recovering slightly behind the expected schedule of recovery. She
had developed a few complications post operation and they wer overcome now.
In view of the criticality of the operation, all patients are advised to
remain in completely sterilized premises for a minimum period of 4 weeks. It
is better if they stay in that condition for a longer period before the RBC
count improves to a specified limit. Apprehensive of any future
complications, they want to keep Kaavya for a month more in that sterilized
room costing Rs.93,000/- more. This is not originally planned. Also there is
a small cost overrun in the original estimate by about Rs.60,000/- as on
this date. So they may require anywhere between Rs.1.5 lacs to Rs.2.00lacs.
Otherwise, the operation is a success and we all expect her to recover fully
in the next 6 mnths.
Regards,
Sivanand
